Spencer Pitfield, Conservative Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Penistone and Stocksbridge has visited TC Harrison JCB in Chapeltown to commend the company on their fantastic support for apprentices.

TC Harrison JCB has an ongoing apprentice programme allowing young people to gain hands on experience and skills in conjunction with their education. The programme usually results in long term employment with the company for the apprentices.

Spencer said: “TC Harrison provides fantastic work opportunities for young people. Their apprentice programme is outstanding and I was really pleased to hear that the company has further plans to take other new apprentices.

The Conservative Party is committed to creating another 100,000 extra apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship places if elected and it is exactly programmes like the one here at TC Harrison JCB which we will promote”.
